(Cordele, GA) Rookie Dawson Sutton led the field of 27 cars in Thursday’s practice day for the Protect Your Melon – Buckle Up SpeedFest 2024 at Crisp Motorsports Park with a time of 15.820. Jett Noland’s momentum continues clocking a time of 15.860 that put him second. Casey Roderick back behind the wheel of the ACR #26 recorded a lap of 15.933, Georgia native Bubba Pollard laid down the fourth fastest lap at 15.978, and Timothy Watson rounded out the top 5 with a time of 16.005.
Friday action will include practice and qualifying for all four classes of cars with pits opening at 9:00 AM, rotating practice beginning at 12:00 PM, and qualifying on track starting at 4:45 PM.
The big day of the weekend is Saturday, with afternoon racing on tap. Grandstands are scheduled to open at 10:00 AM, with on-track autograph session at 11:30 AM, and feature racing to take the green at 1:00 PM.
