Special from Speed51.com – One of the short track season’s most anticipated events is set to roll this Saturday night at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway. While the Camping World SRX Series will crown its first champion to end the evening, race day will start with who is going to win a green jacket as the Pro Late Model teams JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and the Fairgrounds’ own square off in the Rackley Roofing Masters of the Pros 150.

In 2020, the Masters of the Pros not only made its Nashville debut; it was also the event that brought the Fairgrounds Speedway out of the silence of the COVID-19 shutdown, with the thunder of a great field of Pro Late Models.
The 2021 running is set to feature 47 entries as of Tuesday afternoon, with the battle just to make the starting field for the ninth running of this race expected to be a great fight.
Defending Masters of the Pros race winner Matt Craig is heading back to Tennessee in hopes of making it back-to-back. Former Nashville PLM champion and 2017 Masters of the Pros winner Cole Williams will be looking for his second victory in the event. Meanwhile, everyone else in the field will be looking for their first Masters victory.
Three-time and defending JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour champion Cody Coughlin looks to catch his first Masters victory. Christopher Tullis and Jake Garcia have recorded Alabama 200 wins in 2021 and 2020 respectively, and they both hope to add another Pro Late Model marquee win. Meanwhile, Kody Swanson looks to impress once again following his New Smyrna World Series Pro Late Model title back in February and Mason Mingus looks to follow up his 2019 All American 400 Super Late Model win.
The Fairgrounds home guard is also set to be chocked full of many strong contenders from across Tennessee. This includes names such as Michael House, Michael and Daniel Bolden, Stacey Crain, Willie Allen and Dylan Fetcho to just name a few.
