Nashville, TN (Wednesday, April 19, 2023) – In addition to the prize money earned for competing with Champion Racing Association (CRA) in both the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS, drivers who signed up to be CRA Members earned additional awards after the checkered flag fell over Anderson Speedway on Saturday. The Spring Fling 75 Presented by CB Fabricating offered members an opportunity to earn more with the CRA Contingency Awards.
The first came with the Allstar Performance Fast Qualifier Award which went to Stoh, Indiana’s Jason Atkinson. With a time of 13.812 seconds, Atkinson earned the $50 Product Certificate that comes with winning the award. Not only is Allstar Performance awarding Fast Qualifiers at each event, but the driver who captures the most Fast Qualifier Awards throughout the season will get an additional award from Allstar Performance.
Atkinson’s third-place performance earned him an additional award on Saturday as well. Quarter Master will award Atkinson a $75 product certificate for his performance. They’ll also issue a $50 Product Certificate to Blaine Akin and Cole Baxter for their ninth and sixth-place finishes.
Baxter was also awarded the TCI Automotive Hard Charger Award earning him a $50 Product Certificate, and an Aero Race Wheels Product Certificate.
Schoenfeld Headers awarded Atkinson a $50 Product Certificate for his third-place finish. Jacob Kinney was also awarded a Product Certificate from Schoenfeld Headers.
Akin also received multiple awards including a $50 Product Certificate from TCI Automotive and a $50 Product Certificate from Holley Performance.
Additional award winners included Andrew Teepe who won a $50 Certificate from Holley Performance, COMP Cams, and a Certificate from Bassett Racing Wheels. Kinney also won awards from TCI Automotive and COMP Cams.
The next event for the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS will be Saturday, May 7th at Shadybowl Speedway for race number one of the Four Crown Series.
