Zachary Tinkle To Premiere Custom Paint Scheme On Bell Helmet During Redbud 400 Weekend – Becoming Latest Bell Athlete

Tinkle Family Racing eagerly announces that Zachary Tinkle is the latest race car driver to become a part of the prestigious Bell Athlete program. As part of the celebration, Zachary is having his first custom paint scheme on his innovative Bell helmet that can first be seen during the Redbud 400 weekend at Anderson Speedway. The highly recommended and talented painter Mark Clemons of Missouri is painting the helmet based on design direction from Zachary.

Tinkle will be racing on Saturday night at Anderson Speedway in the McGunegill Engine Performance series as he is the current championship points leader. On Sunday, he will be practicing in the ARCA/CRA Super series practice session designated for only those participating in the Monday race. On Monday, Zachary will race in the Redbud 400.

BellHelmetLeftSideWith this being Tinkle’s longest late model race to date, anything to enhance endurance and combat fatigue are welcomed tools to the driver toolbox. That’s why Zachary will be wearing the ultra-lightweight RS7C LTWT helmet by Bell developed in conjunction with NASCAR® team Penske Racing. Weighing in at only 2.795 pounds, it “combines an aerospace-grade carbon shell, reinforced energy absorbing liner system and the performance features of the HP7 that create the most advanced, lightweight SA rated helmet that can be used in North America’s most demanding forms of racing.”

When asked about the Bell Athlete program and his new helmet, Zachary said, “I met the guys from Bell last fall and found out how passionate they are about safety. They pay close attention to details like how to attach the snout to the top of the helmet. I’ve been to their shop several times and know they produce the best. I couldn’t believe the weight difference with this new helmet and knew we had to have it for a long race like the Redbud 400. It’s humbling to be in the company of other Bell Athletes and a part of the program. I intend to make them proud.”
