Newport, Michigan (Wednesday, October 7, 2015): The 2015 racing season for Matt Hall and his Matt Hall Motorsports Team comes down to one race. Despite missing three total events, Hall remains seventh overall in the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS point’s chase while also sitting fourth in the rookie of the year title chase. He has two top 10 finishes with the last one coming at Kalamazoo Speedway (MI) during Kalamazoo Klash XXIII on August 12th. His first 10th place run came at Illiana Motor Speedway (IN) on Memorial Day Monday, May 25th in the Calypso Lemonade Chicagoland Shootout. In eight of the 10 races he has participated in, the results have been at least a top 15 finish.
With an outside chance to get to as high as sixth in the final standings, Hall heads back to the legendary 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Winchester Speedway (IN) for the 44th Running of the Winchester 400. The famed facility located east of Muncie and west of the Indiana / Ohio state line in Winchester, Indiana hosts the 2015 door closer for the series and Hall will head to the high-banks armed with a new sponsor, United Credit Education Services.
“Very happy to have United Credit Education Services on board for the 400 couldn’t be happier to represent a great group of people running a successful business.” Offered the Newport, Michigan driver. “After a devastating wreck in practice last year with a very good racecar needless to say we are excited to get back to the 400. It has been by far the worst year of racing for us with multiple mechanical failures and wrecks out of our control with the last being at stock car festival. We have been preparing since the day of the wreck getting everything turned around after one of the worst wrecks I’ve ever experienced.” Continued the 22-year-old.
“We couldn’t be happier and more proud with everyone that has made this possible with the chances of ending the year on a high note.” He added. “I really want to thank everyone evolved and am looking forward to a successful weekend at my absolute most favorite racetrack in one of the biggest races in the country. Again a huge thanks to UCES for coming aboard to make this all possible.”
