Salem, IN (April 4th, 2018) – Anderson Speedway officials have announced that the Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS events scheduled for this coming weekend for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman and the Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks have been postponed with the forecast of bitter cold temperatures during the day on Saturday and Saturday night.
“Sometimes Mother Nature does not want to give up her hold on winter and this is one of those seasons,” says Anderson Speedway President, Rick Dawson. “We, our fans and competitors are anxious to race and we have a great season planned once the weather cooperates.”
The Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman event has been rescheduled for Saturday, July 28th at Anderson Speedway. The Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks event has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 18th at Anderson Speedway.
The season opener now for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman will be on Sunday, May 27th at Mt. Lawn Speedway. The Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stocks season opener will now be the Five Crown 200 lap event at Shadybowl Speedway on Saturday, April 21st.
