Salem, IN (June 9, 2017) – Officials with Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS and Kil-Kare Raceway, announced today that they will be canceling the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman event that was scheduled at Kil-Kare Raceway next Sunday, June 18th. It was the original goal to mix the traveling CRA teams and the local stars for the show, but there was not enough interest from local teams to ensure the events success.
Series and track officials will turn their focus to the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event scheduled for Sunday, July 9 th and the ARCA/CRA Super Series event scheduled for Sunday, July 30 th at the unique Ohio facility, that reopened this season after being closed for several years. Those events are assured higher car counts between those traveling with the series and the local cars requiring fewer changes to compete. Both remaining Kil-Kare CRA events are expected to be featured in upcoming Speed51.com broadcasts.
The next Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS event will be Saturday, July 1 st at Anderson Speedway, followed by the rescheduled Mt. Lawn Speedway event on Sunday, July 23 rd . More kilinformation on all the CRA Series is available at www.cra-racing.com.
