Trey Craig Declared Winner of Rackley Roofing Battle of Broadway 150 Following Post-Race Tech

Berry’s #21 Disqualified for Left Side Weight Violation in JEGS/CRA All-Stars and Southern Pro Series Event

NASHVILLE, TN – In a post-race development Thursday night at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, Trey Craig has been declared the official winner of the Rackley Roofing Battle of Broadway 150, following the disqualification of Josh Berry after post-race technical inspection.

Berry, who originally crossed the finish line first in the combined event for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by Chevrolet Performance and the Rogers Dabbs Performance Parts Southern Pro Series, was found to be in violation of left side weight percentage regulations. As a result, Berry’s #21 entry has been removed from the official results, elevating Craig to the top spot and awarding him his second consecutive win in the marquee Pro Late Model event.

Craig, who started seventh, methodically worked his way to the front over the 150-lap distance. After moving into second with less than 20 laps remaining, he looked poised to challenge Berry but never got the caution he needed to close the gap. Despite finishing runner-up on track, the post-race decision now cements the win for the Kentucky driver.

Dawson Sutton, who led the early stages and was the CP Race Wear Fast Qualifier, is now credited with second. Hunter Wright moves up to third, with Isaac Kitzmiller and Dustin Smith completing the revised top five.

The race featured early domination by Sutton, who was also fastest in practice and drew the pole position. He and teammate Kitzmiller opened a sizable advantage before the race’s first caution on lap 49 for a spin by Tucker Wingo. On the restart, Berry surged to second and eventually took the lead on lap 82 before building a gap during a long green-flag run. That run came to a halt on lap 106 following an incident involving Aidan Potter and Stacey Crain, which brought the field to pit road for their two-tire allotment.

Berry again led the final restart on lap 115, pulling away while battles raged behind him. However, the post-race inspection ruled out his effort, handing the win to Craig in a dramatic turn of events.
