Marne, Michigan (Tuesday, June 2, 2015): Berlin Raceway and Champion Racing Association (CRA) Powered by JEGS officials announced today, that Toyota has stepped up to be the title sponsor of the special awards for The Battle at Berlin 251 presented by Primera Plastics. The ARCA/CRA Super Series 251 lap race scheduled for Tuesday, June 16th at the Michigan facility outside of Grand Rapids, already boasts a very impressive entry list, headlined by NASCAR superstars Chase Elliott and Erik Jones. The top Berlin Raceway racers and ARCA/CRA Super Series drivers, as well as some of the top Super Late Model drivers from across the country will all be battling for their share of the impressive $100,000+ purse.
In addition to the great position purse for the event, a substantial bonus package was put in place to benefit every kind of racer. The Toyota sponsored bonuses include a New Star Program that pays the top three finishers that have never finished in the top five in a Berlin Late Model event before, $2500, $1000 and $500 respectively. Bonuses are also being paid for Fast Qualifier, Halfway Leader, Most Laps Led, and Hard Luck. Additionally, there is a $10,000 bonus available to any driver who wins the race that had never raced at Berlin before 2015.
