Only Two Races Left in the Chase for the ARCA Midwest Tour Championship

Sept 16, 2014 – Thirty-four of the Midwest’s top drivers will come together at Elko Speedway on Saturday, Sept 20th for the ARCA Midwest Tour presented by Scag Power Equipment’s 6th Annual Thunderstruck 93 presented by NAPA Auto Parts, 100-lap feature event. This is one of, if not the biggest, locals versus Touring Stars races that the Tour puts on each year.
Nathan Haseleu and Ty Majeski will be running their own race as they continue the fight for the championship, but they will have a lot more drivers to go up against than each other. Along with the ARCA Midwest Touring Stars, many of Elko Speedway’s local heroes will be searching for the win. Past two-time Midwest Touring Star Champion, Dan Fredrickson, and former Midwest Tour Rookie of the Year, Nick Murgic, along with former Touring Star, Jacob Goede are just a few of the local names topping the entry list.
Those entered will make up one of the strongest fields the Tour has seen this year and no doubt put on some of the toughest racing yet this season. Any one of the 34 drivers will have a shot at this year’s Thunderstruck 93, so be sure to get there early to secure your seat.
