Salem, IN (June 9, 2017) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award is up to $400 for this Saturday’s ARCA/CRA Super Series Presented by JEGS Summit City 100 at Baer Field Motorsports Park. The fast 1/2 mile semi-banked paved oval has hosted 16 series events in the past. Three time series Champion Scott Hantz leads the series with five all time wins at Baer Field.
The $400 bonus for Saturday includes $200 carried over from the series last event, the RustyWallaceCars.com 100, which was part of the inaugural Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway Presented by Vore’s Welding.
Johnny VanDoorn collected the $1000 Team Construction Clean Sweep Award at the series event at Anderson Speedway on May 7th. That was the first time the award had been collected since Cody Coughlin collected a $1,200 bonus at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day weekend last season.
The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $200 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $200 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $200.
