Super Late Models & ARCA Heading to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway for May 2-3 Weekend
(Nashville, TN) Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway is ready to welcome the best of ARCA Menards Series East, along with the ASA Southern Super Series/CRA Saturday, May 3. The Music City 150 and the North-South Super Late Model Challenge 100 is part of two packed days of racing action starting on Friday, May 2 with a ¼-Mile Special.
In ARCA Menards Series East action, current points leader Isaac Kitzmiller leads the standings after two races but is wanting to find his own place in victory lane. Local driver Hunter Wright is out to better last year’s top-10 finish in the MAN Motorsports #95 machine. Wright is trying to carry momentum after a runner-up finish in the 2025 season opener for the Pro Late Model division. Kole Raz, Tyler Reif, Zachary Tinkle, and Takuma Koga are currently top five in points.
Typically, ARCA Menards East is the headliner for the weekend but this year, the North-South Super Late Model challenge is also on the card for the same night, featuring the Southern Super Series and CRA. Cole Butcher leads the Southern Super Series points, claiming both wins at 5 Flags Speedway this season. Butcher also is the current leader in the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour.
The Southern Super Series has some strong names in the top ten in points including veteran star driver, Bubba Pollard in 2nd, Gavan Boschele 3rd, Stephen Nasse 4th, and Colby Howard 5th. The rest of the top ten are Matt Craig, Carson Brown, Jake Finch, Spencer Davis, and Chase Pinsonneault. The Super Late Model show should be a good one.
Rounding out the crazy tripleheader of Saturday, May 3 racing will be the Nashville Pro Late Model 100. Chase Johnson had a dominant season opener last weekend, setting fast time and claiming the feature win. Hunter Wright, Max Reaves, Corey Deuser, and Anthony Bello will come into the event top five in Pro Late points.
The race weekend officially begins on Friday night at 6:30 PM with the points season opener for the Paschall Heating & Air Limited Late Models, US Air Force Legends, Pure Stock, CP Race Wear Bandoleros, and Pest Doctor Front Runners.
Everything then amps up on Saturday with the stars of the ARCA Menards Series East Music City 150, ASA Southern Super Series and CRA competes in the North/South Challenge 100, along with the Pro Late Model 100. Racing begins in the early evening at 5:00 PM.
