Pensacola, FL – The wait is almost over as the season-opening weekend at Five Flags Speedway is now just one week away, highlighted by the Sunshine State 200 presented by Appalachian Sucker Punch on Friday–Saturday, March 13–14.
The marquee Super Late Model event will once again serve as the second race of the 2026 season for the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, bringing some of the best drivers in pavement racing to the Gulf Coast.
The Sunshine State 200 will be a major combination event featuring:

- ASA Southern Super Series
- Deep South Cranes Blizzard Series
A strong field of Super Late Models has already entered for the Sunshine State 200, with teams from across the country preparing to compete in one of the premier early-season races in the nation. The full entry list will be released soon.
ASA STARS Season Already Underway
The 2026 ASA STARS National Tour season opened this week at New Smyrna Speedway in front of a near-capacity crowd as 32 Super Late Models took the green flag.
Seventeen-year-old Carson Brown scored the victory in just his second season with the series, setting the stage for an early-season championship battle that now shifts to Pensacola for the Sunshine State 200. Brown carried his momentum over to his first ARCA start, claiming a win in Phoenix this week.
