Flat Rock, MI – Metro Detroit is preparing for the return of the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance for the Diversified Excavating & Site Utilities 125 Presented by Explore Monroe on Saturday, June 21st. The 125-lap contest is sanctioned by not only the Pro Late Model JEGS Tour, but also the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS.
The race on Saturday is the first for the JEGS Tour on the freshly repaved Speedway on Telegraph Road in Monroe County. Track records have been falling all season long for the local divisions at Flat Rock, including the Outlaw Super Late Models and the visiting ARCA Menards East Series. The JEGS Tour is expecting a fast race track on Saturday as well, with a loaded entry list of drivers who could knock down, not only a new track record, but a race win as well.
Jade Avedisian, who shifted her focus to Template Late Models after a successful start to her career on dirt in open-wheel competition, is making her JEGS Tour debut Saturday. In March, Avedisian earned her first career Template Late Model win at New River All-American Speedway. Other young talent on the entry list includes Wilson Motorsports teammate, Gavan Boschele. Winner of the season-opening event for the ASA STARS National Tour, Boschele will see if he has what it takes to master Flat Rock Speedway.
Locally, Dylan Stovall is headed to Flat Rock after his first career Super Late Model win Saturday at Berlin Raceway. The Wayland, Michigan native said recently on the Horsepower Happenings’ Podcast that his next goal is to win with the JEGS Tour. With him, is VanDoorn Racing Development teammate, Austin Hull, who is also searching for his first career JEGS Tour win after a local win at Berlin earlier this season.
Steven Ulman became a key piece of the JEGS Tour lore after his first career win at Whittemore Speedway in 2024. The Prestige Steel sponsored No.45 will unload alongside Michael Simko, looking for another win Saturday night. Barrett Polhemus makes his JEGS Tour return for the first time since a top five Championship Points finish in 2024. The No.131, traditionally piloted by Kyle Crump, will be Polhemus’ home for Flat Rock, the track where Polhemus posted his best career JEGS Tour finish when he came home second to Chase Burda last season.
Local favorites, Justin Schroeder, Will Sahutske, David Liaeff, Guy Frie, Chase Pinsonneault, Jeff Vrsek, and Jimmy Tucker are also entered for Saturday night. Those over half a dozen drivers all call Metro Detroit and/or Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway home, which raises the stakes for Saturday night’s race.
