Special from Speed51.com – Concord, NC — The inaugural Speed51 Super Select “Winner-Take-All” invitational race at Indiana’s legendary Lucas Oil Raceway (IN) on Saturday, September 8 is poised to be one of the biggest Super Late Model events of the year with one of the deepest and most diverse entry lists expected at any race in 2018. To qualifying for a selection for the event (which includes a guaranteed starting spot, free set of tires and entry) a driver had to win a race in 2018 or been a winner of “Select” events from 2017. With so much attention being placed on the new event, it is the perfect event for companies to gain a lot of exposure through a variety of advertising methods.
The Speed51 Super Select is a “winner-take-all” event, meaning that only the winner will be receiving at least $10,000 in prize money. Normally a second-place finish is a good day, but as Ricky Bobby famously said, “If you’re not first, you’re last.” That couldn’t be more true at the Speed51 Super Select. A company can sponsor the “First Loser Award,” which will be given to whichever driver finishes in second-place.
The Speed51 Super Select will be a 75-lap race, sanctioned by the Champion Racing Association, and will be broken into three 25-lap segments. Companies can get involved by sponsoring one or more of the segments, which will include numerous forms of announcements and other exposure.
The inaugural event will serve as an All-Star event for Super Late Model racing, as the best drivers from all corners of North America are getting selected to the event. However, there is another way for drivers to qualify, and that is through the 30-lap “Open” race that is for drivers who are not locked into the event through an accepted selection. The 30-lap qualifier race is expected to be a must-see event, and an event that will bring a lot of exposure to any company that should sponsor it.
A cornucopia of advertising routes exists for the inaugural Speed51 Super Select, including a “Top of the Board” Pole Award, Hard-Charger Award, Best Appearing Car, Bold Move of the Race award and just about anything else someone can come up with.
The inaugural Speed51 Super Select is a combination event with the USAC Silver Crown Series presented by Traxxas on Saturday, September 8 at Lucas Oil Raceway. The facility is located just up the road from that weekend’s Brickyard 400 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Companies are encouraged to email Bob Dillner at bd51sports@gmail.com and/or Adam Mackey at Adam.TrackEnterprises@gmail.com for more information regarding advertising with the Speed51 Super Select.
