Unfortunately, many end-of-year banquets for short track racing series across America will not be possible due to the COVID-19 pandemic and its associated restrictions. Still, Champion Racing Association (CRA) will celebrate the accomplishments of its top drivers with a virtual banquet on January 18, streamed for free on Speed51.TV.

The virtual banquet will feature year-in-review highlights and videos, as well as interviews with the champions of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, Van Hoy Oil CRA Street Stock Series and Victory Custom Trailers CRA Junior Late Model Series.
“It’s a shame we can’t get all our racers together in person like normal to honor them for their accomplishments from the 2020 season, but we have to look out for their health and safety first,” said CRA Director Glenn Luckett. “It’s really awesome that Speed 51 is putting together a virtual awards banquet to give our racers the opportunity to get honored for their accomplishments. We are really looking forward to it.”
Speed51 was on hand for numerous Champion Racing Association events throughout the 2020 season, from CRA SpeedFest in January all the way to the championship weekend at the Winchester 400. The banquet will look back on the year, honoring its champions and celebrating big moments.
The virtual banquet will be available for anyone to watch for free on Speed51.TV. The banquet will air on Monday, January 18.
