Salem, IN (January 24, 2018) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced there will be several special awards on the line for CRA SpeedFest 2018, which will be held this weekend, Friday, January 26th and Saturday, January 27th at Crisp Motorsports Park – Home of the Watermelon Capital Speedway, located in Cordele, Georgia.
Fury Race Cars will award a $500 cash bonus for the Fury Race Cars Fast Qualifier Award for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Model SpeedFest 200.
Luke Yoder Construction of Perry, Georgia will award a $400 cash bonus for the Luke Yoder Construction Fast Qualifier Award for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Models SpeedFest 125.
Team Construction will award a $400 cash bonus for the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award if the Fury Race Cars Fast Qualifier can also win the SpeedFest 200.
PitBoxes.com will award a $100 cash bonus for the Pitboxes.com Halfway Leader Award for each event. The driver leading lap 100 of the SpeedFest 200 and the driver leading lap 63 of the SpeedFest 125 will each receive a $100 cash bonus.
Hamner Racing Engines will award a $100 cash bonus to the driver advancing the most positions in the SpeedFest 200.
Nipper Industrial Services will award a $100 cash bonus to the driver leading the most laps in both the SpeedFest 200 and the SpeedFest 125.
RaceCar Engineering will award a $100 Product Certificate to the driver advancing the most positions in the SpeedFest 200 and in the SpeedFest 125. They will also award a $100 Product Certificate to the driver having the hardest wreck in both events and a $50 Product Certificate to the 15th place finisher in both events.
Racing Electronics will award $100 Product Certificate in each event to the second place finishing driver for the Racing Electronics Second to None Award. Racing Electronics will also award a $100 Product Certificate in each event for the Racing Electronics Most Improved Driver Award which will be awarded to the driver who improves the most positions in each late model event with SpeedFest.
CRA SpeedFest 2018 will consist of a $10,000 to win 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Model special non-points event and a $5000 to win 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model special non-points event. The 200 ARCA/CRA Super Series event will be an eight tire max event that will count yellow flag laps up to lap 175 with Controlled Cautions. The 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event will be a four tire only event that will count yellow flag laps up to lap 100. In addition, CRA SpeedFest 2018 will also feature a 20 lap Legend feature and a 15 lap Bandolero feature.
