Roderick Rockets To Fastest In Tar Heel 250 Overall Practice

Casey Roderick would wheel his Anthony Campi Racing #26 to P1 on the day with a lap of 14.375. He would also lead the way in the first practice. Conner Jones would come away with Second quick on the day with a lap of 14.391 while William Sawalich would be third quick with a lap of 14.407. Sawalich was also second quick in first practice. 4th quick on the day would be Rookie of the Year competitor Caden Kvapil with a time of 14.470. Kvapil is a multi time winner here in Pro Late Model competition and knows his way around the historic race track. Rounding out the top five for the day would be Brent Crews with a lap of 14.482. Rookie of the Year leader Kyle Steckly would find himself just outside the top five in sixth with a time of 14.490.

The focus now shifts to race day as the teams now have the rest of the night to sleep on today’s practice session and get a plan of attack ready for tomorrow’s running of the Tar Heel 250.

The day starts with Registration and Garage opening at 10:30. Practice will get underway at 1:00 and there will be two sessions for both the ASA STARS National Tour and the Legend cars. Qualifying gets underway at 4:00pm EST with the Legends and then Go Fas Qualifying for the ASA STARS National Tour. 6:30 will see the legends run their INEX National Qualifier event with the Tar Heel 250 scheduled to get underway at 7:30.

Don’t forget NASCAR Hall of Famer Rusty Wallace will be on hand to serve as Grand Marshal of the event.
