Racecar Engineering to Sponsor SpeedFest 2016 Awards

Salem, IN (January 21, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that Racecar Engineering will sponsor Awards for both the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Model event and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model event with SpeedFest 2016. Racecar Engineering will award that the driver advancing the most positions in both the ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Model 200 lap event and the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Model 125 lap event with a $100 Product Certificate. They will also award a $100 Product Certificate to the driver having the hardest wreck in both events and a $50 Product Certificate to the 15th place finisher in both events.

SpeedFest 2016 will be held on Saturday, January 30th and Sunday, January 31st. As is tradition, this event is held the weekend prior to the Super Bowl every year. This will be the fifth straight season that SpeedFest has been held at Crisp Motorsports Park – Home of the Watermelon Capital Speedway, which is located in Cordele, Georgia.

 

SpeedFest 2016 will once consist of a 200 lap ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS special non-points event and a 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance special non-points event. The 200 ARCA/CRA Super Series event will have a break at lap 100 and will count yellow flag laps up to lap 175. The 125 lap JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event will be a four tire only event and will count yellow flag laps up to lap 100.
