Salem, IN (December 30, 2020) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials and Officials at Crisp Motorsports Park – Home of the Watermelon Capital Speedway have announced that Racecar Engineering has agreed to be a Co-Presenting Sponsor of the ARCA/CRA Super Series 200 lap special non-points event with CRA SpeedFest 2021. In addition, Racecar Engineering will be a Contingency Award sponsor with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance special non-points 125 lap Pro Late Model event at CRA SpeedFest 2021.
CRA SpeedFest 2021 will be held on Friday, January 22nd and Saturday, January 23rd, with Sunday, January 24th as the events rain date. This will be the 10th straight year that SpeedFest has been held at Crisp Motorsports Park – Home of the Watermelon Capital Speedway, which is located in Cordele, Georgia.
CRA SpeedFest 2021 will once again consist of an ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS special non-points 200 lap Super Late Model event with Controlled Cautions and a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance special non-points 125 lap Pro Late Model event. The event will pay $10,000 to win for the SpeedFest 200 Presented by Racecar Engineering for the Super Late Models and $5,000 to win for the Pro Late Model race, with several bonuses for both series.
CRA will be giving two teams an early New Year’s present, the first 20 teams that enter the Super Late Model SpeedFest event by December 31st will be entered in a drawing for a free set of four tires for the event. In addition, the first 20 teams that enter the Pro Late Model SpeedFest event by December 31st will be entered in a drawing for a free set of four tires for the event. Teams can contact the CRA office at 812-883-0455 to enter in advance for the tire drawing by 5pm on December 31st.
