Pinsonneault Chasing ‘The Triple’

As Owosso Speedway sets the stage for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance third points-paying race of 2025, a certain winner from 2024 plans on attempting three races in one week.

Defending winner of the Big “O” Classic, Chase Pinsonneault will be racing at Hickory Motor Speedway for the Ross & Witmer 255, Newport Speedway for the Food Country USA 300, and the Big “O” Classic at Owosso Speedway all in one week. The Belle River, Ontario driver aims to sweep the week by winning the two Super Late Model features at Hickory and Newport with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour and the Pro Late Model JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour event at Owosso on Memorial Day Monday.

Last year, fellow Canadian racer, Kyle Steckley attempted the double when the schedules from both series aligned with Hickory and Owosso. Now, Chase has the busiest schedule in short-track racing this week, crossing America, chasing glory.

Chase had a chance to speak with us and mentioned, “The eight days of travel are going to be challenging yet a challenge worthwhile. We have three cars ready to go per event, and I’m confident that all are quality machines ready for battle.”

In 2025, race fans can spot Chase Pinsonneault running full-time with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour while competing in most JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour events. Chase changed his paint scheme on his Super and Pro Late Models this year, sporting a white base and a bright blue secondary tone for the ASA car and a black base with a bright blue secondary color for the JEGS Tour car.

Pinsonneault says he’s eager for a return visit to Owosso. “I believe the car we have heading into the Big “O” is better than the car we had during the Owosso Nationals.”

Owosso Speedway is the first place where Pinsonneault found victory lane in the United States, winning the Big “O” Classic Presented by Reefer Peterbilt one year ago.

Catch Chase Pinsonneault racing this year’s Big “O” Classic at Owosso Speedway on Monday afternoon, May 26 at 2:00 PM ET. Tickets are just $15 for adults and can be purchased online at owossospeedway.com or at the speedway box office. The race will air live on both TrackTV.com and racingamerica.tv.
