Salem, IN (February 9, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that Outerwears Performance Products has agreed to continue as a marketing partner with CRA and its ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS for the 2016 racing season, that will begin on Friday, April 8th at Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville, part of the North/South Super Late Model Challenge with the Southern Super Series. 2016 will be the 20th season of competition for the ARCA/CRA Super Series that started in 1997.
Outerwears will once again sponsor the Outerwears Crew Chief of the Year Award, which will be awarded to the Crew Chief that has the most outstanding performance over the entire 2016 season. This award will not be based solely up on race results, but will reward the Crew Chief that put in the hard work and overcame obstacles to get his driver on the track and ready to perform in ARCA/CRA Super Series events. Eligible Crew Chiefs will have to finish in the top ten of the final 2016 ARCA/CRA Super Series points. Outerwears will award the Outerwears Crew Chief of the Year with a trophy and a $1000 cash bonus.
