NTS Motorsports Driver Enters Indy CRA Event

Kernersville, North Carolina (Wednesday, September 23, 2015): NTS Motorsport driver Blaine Rocha from Oakdale, California will make his Champions Racing Association (CRA) debut this weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway in Brownsburg, Indiana, just outside of Indianapolis.

The 17 year-old Rocha, who competes full-time in the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series for NTS, will drive the recently acquired Port City Racecars house car in this weekend’s McGunegill Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl.

Rocha, made his NTS driving debut earlier this year, with a fourth place finish in the inaugural Winter Showdown on February 29th at Kern County Raceway Park in Bakersfield, California. Currently, Rocha is sixth in the 2015 SPEARS Southwest Tour Series championship standings, with two races remaining in the season.

“We’re excited about this weekend and racing with the CRA,” stated Rocha.  “We’ve been to Port City Racecars to get fitted in the car, and now we’re going to test before the weekend gets started”.

Rocha will bring his west coast NTS Motorsports team with him this weekend.  “Our team has a good relationship with Port City, and we’ll work close with them in getting the car dialed in.” added Rocha.

The McGunegill Engine Performance CRA Fall Brawl gets started on Saturday, with the pit gates opening at 9:00am. Practice starts at 12:30pm for all four CRA divisions.  ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will do individual qualifying starting at 5:30 on Saturday to set their Sunday feature line-ups.

On Sunday, the pit gates open at 9:00am, there is an Autograph Session with all the drivers competing in Sunday’s events for the fans, racing gets going at 1:00pm, with Last Chance Races (if needed) followed by 310 laps of Feature racing.
