Noah Gragson & Wauters Motorsports Going for the Win in the 45th Annual Winchester 400

Wauters Motorsports Release – (October 5, 2016) Noah Gragson will pilot the No. 5G Speed Vegas Wauters Motorsports Toyota Camry in the 45th Annual Winchester 400 Sunday, October 9, 2016 in the Champion Racing Association (CRA) powered by JEGS Super Series event.

Gragson, a member of NASCAR Next program, is coming off a successful NASCAR K&N West and East Series season.  The 18-year-old Las Vegas, NV resident posted two wins in both K&N Series divisions in 2016.  He will be making his first start at the on the high-banked, asphalt, ½ mile oval in Winchester, Indiana. He and the Wauters team head to the Indiana track looking to capture the win this weekend.

Noah Gragson:

“This will be my first trip to Winchester Speedway.  I’ve heard that the track is really banked and very bumpy. 400 laps is a long race but these guys on the Wauters team have put together a really good Speed Vegas Toyota Camry for the race.  We are absolutely going there to bring home the win.  It would sure be awesome to win that Winchester rifle but I don’t know if TSA Security will let me bring it on the plane!  I’ve been assured the guys will make sure it gets back safely on the transporter.  I’m looking forward to this weekend.  There is a lot of stiff competition but we are going to work hard to bring home a solid finish or a win in the Speed Vegas Camry.”

Richie Wauters:

“Noah (Gragson) is a real wheelman and we are really excited about this weekend.  Noah has had a lot of success this season in both (NASCAR) K&N Series divisions and we are hoping to have him continue that this weekend at Winchester (Speedway).  It is a long race but Noah has the stamina and the ability to learn the track quickly and so I believe we will have a great weekend in Indiana. I have to thank Speed Vegas for coming onboard as the sponsor and we are all going to work hard to bring home a top finish or a win for them this weekend.”

Practice at Winchester Speedway will begin on Friday, October 7th, with additional practice and qualifying on Saturday. The historic 45th Annual Winchester 400 slated to begin at 2:00pm.
