Salem, IN (April 25, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that Mitch Smith Auto Service, located in Anderson, Indiana, has agreed to sponsor additional purse money for the upcoming ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS Anderson 125 at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, May 7th. With the Mitch Smith Auto Service support, that event will now pay $4000 to win and $2000 for second, which is an additional $1000 to win and an additional $500 for second.

CRA officials have already released the entry form for the Anderson 125 at Anderson Speedway. That event will be the only event for the series at Anderson Speedway prior to the Redbud 300 on July 16th, one of the premier Template Super Late Model events in the country paying $10,000 to win. The Redbud 300 is the second event in the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown, which will pay out a $100,000 bonus if a driver can win the Battle at Berlin 251 on June 13th, the Redbud 300 and the Winchester 400 on October 9th. NASCAR Xfinity Series racer Erik Jones won the 2015 JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown.
Teams are reminded that this Saturday, April 30th is the advance entry deadline for the Anderson 125, teams entering after that date will have to pay an additional $25 for a late entry fee.
