Matt Hall Ready To Take On Anderson Speedway After Overcoming Adversity In ARCA/CRA Season Opener

One of the few tracks Hall has spent time on is next on the schedule

Newport, Michigan (Tuesday, April 21, 2015): Matt Hall’s 2015 racing season did not begin as planned during the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS season opener, the 7-UP 100 Presented by Royal Truck & Trailer Sales. The weekend at the famed 1/2 (0.500) mile high-banked paved oval of Toledo Speedway (OH) started with a blown motor in Practice the day before the race. After a long night of swapping out engines and on very little sleep, all the hard work and perseverance paid off for the Newport , Michigan driver with a 13th place effort.

“I can’t thank my team enough for the hours and effort that was put in at Toledo. After blowing up the motor late Friday the team could have easily called it a weekend. We all knew we had a lot of family and friends counting on us to be running on Saturday at one of our home tracks.” Explained the 22-year-old driver remarked. “With multiple crew guys including myself getting less than four hours of sleep in a 48-hour span was absolutely incredible. To have a team that is working with us out of pure love of the sport and not on a payroll is a pretty awesome feeling being able to drive for a team with this much dedication.”

After qualifying 13th out of 26 cars on the grounds, Hall pulled his #04 Schall Automotive / Chevrolet out of impound to take care of a leak and a couple other present issues and would be forced to start at the rear of the field. “Figures, when we need a caution to make up track position, the race goes green flag all the way for the first time ever.” Hall Laughed after the first caution free race in the ARCA/CRA Super Series 19-year history. “We are determined to log laps and stay out of trouble this year and let the finishes come to us.” He added.

The 2015 racing season continues for Hall and his Matt Hall Motorsports Team on Saturday, April 25th at the fast 1/4 (0.250) mile high-banked paved oval of Anderson Speedway (IN). The Madison County Community Health Center 125 is the second points race of the year for the ARCA/CRA Super Series is at one of the few tracks Hall has been to before as he contends with five other drivers for the 2015 Rookie of the Year title. “I am looking forward to Anderson. Always been one of my favorite tracks. The crew really showed what they are made of with the adversity we overcame at Toledo and I couldn’t be happier with the guys. Onward and upward we go.” Stated Car Owner and Father, Kenny Hall.

“This weekend at Anderson is going be another tough one. We haven’t raced there in a couple years, but I am very confident we can leave there with a good finish and get some of those points back we left on the table at Toledo.” Added Crew Chief, Brian Moore.

For the rest of the 2015 racing season, Hall’s #04 Matt Hall Motorsports / Kyle Jones Racing / Chevrolet SS will carry sponsorship decals and support from Schall Automotive as well as LMC Electric, Matrix Paint Systems, Embroidered Images, Wicked Motorsports, Rook Motorsports, Port City Racecars and M.P.H.
