Matt Hall Ready To Shine In The Circle City 100 Presented by Greg Hubler Chevrolet

First of two races in 2015 at Lucas Oil Raceway next for Great Lakes State freshman

Newport, Michigan (Tuesday, July 21, 2015): A six day turnaround after an extended lap race is not the most recommended things to do for a race team. But Matt Hall and his Matt Hall Motorsports Team are facing that exact scenario. Just a few days after running in the Redbud 300, Hall will regroup and prepare for the Circle City 100 Presented by Greg Hubler Chevrolet on Friday, July 24th. The immaculate Lucas Oil Raceway (IN), located west of Indianapolis in Brownsburg, Indiana serves as hosts of the seventh race of the year for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS.

“We have a few repairs to make to make the turn around on the short week to be ready for LOR.” Stated the Newport, Michigan driver. “Going into LOR we are looking up seeing we have brought very good racecars to the track the last two race weekends. We hope to have a strong finish and get something to go our way. Need to make a turn around and earn a strong finish. We have the car to do it now it’s just a matter of things falling our way.” He added.

The Stoops Freightliner Redbud 300 was on Saturday, July 18th at the fast 1/4 (0.250) mile high-banked paved oval of Anderson Speedway (IN) in Anderson, Indiana. This event was also the second race within the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown Series. After qualifying 19th, Hall maneuvered his way up into the top five before the brakes started going on his machine and caused his #04 Schall Automotive / Chevrolet to spin in turn one, ending his night. He would be shown 13th at the end of the night.

“Anderson started off as a great weekend with a very fast car all through practice. We had some issues in qualifying that set us back to 19th that was very unexpected as our qualifying time was the slowest lap of the entire weekend.” Explained the 22-year-old driver. “We didn’t let that get us down as we conserved our stuff and made our way to fifth by lap 200. Unfortunately we had a brake failure that caused me to spin when I went in and the pedal went to the floor. 13th is nowhere near the finish we expected nor deserved with a racecar that good.” Hall ended.

After six events in the 2015 racing season within the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Hall has climbed up to fifth overall in the season long points chase and is third in the rookie of the year title chase. He has one top 10 finish, which came at Illiana Motor Speedway (IN) on Memorial Day Monday, May 25th in the ARCA/CRA portion of the Calypso Lemonade Chicagoland Shootout. Five of the six events he’s taken the green flag in have resulted in at least a top 15 finish.

For the rest of the 2015 racing season, Hall’s black and yellow #04 Matt Hall Motorsports / Kyle Jones Racing / Chevrolet SS will carry sponsorship decals and support from Schall Automotive as well as LMC Electric, Matrix Paint Systems, Embroidered Images, Kyle Jones  Racing  & Shocks, Wicked Motorsports, Rook Motorsports, Port City Racecars and M.P.H. Promotions.
