Mason Keller gets First Pro Late Model Win at New Smyrna Speedway

Salem, IN (February 24, 2017) – Lawrence Towing CRA Street Stock competitor Mason Keller took full advantage of his pole starting position and led all 30 laps of the first Pro Late Model feature at New Smyrna Speedway Thursday night, getting his first Pro Late Model victory, in only his third ever start in a late model. Keller, a winner with the CRA Street Stocks in 2015, is racing in all the Pro Late Model events at New Smyrna Speedway during their World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing, which concludes this Saturday. Because of bad weather, Keller had only raced twice so far in the nine day event before last night’s first feature, but looked like an experienced Pro Late Model racer in holding off Jason Vail to get the win for Brandon Oakley Racing.

Keller will be behind the wheel again on Friday night for the Pro Late Model‘s 100 lap special and again for the 30 lap World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing finally on Saturday night. Several other CRA competitors competed in the Pro Late Model feature including eighth place finisher Bill Burba, 11th place finisher Hope Hornish and 19th place finisher Brandon Oakley.
