Salem, IN (March 31, 2016) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that Lyons Truck & Trailer has agreed to be the sponsor of the Lyons Truck & Trailer LOR Challenge for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS for the upcoming race season. 2016 will be the 11th season of competition for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series that started in 2006. Jason Atkinson was the series 2015 Champion.
The Lyons Truck & Trailer LOR Challenge will consist of the five events scheduled at Lucas Oil Raceway for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman, starting with this Sunday’s 40 lap event with the 7th Annual Cabin Fever Championships. The driver getting the most points in the five events will be the Champion of the Lyons Truck & Trailer LOR Challenge and will receive a $1000 cash bonus from Lyons Truck & Trailer. The driver finishing second in the Lyons Truck & Trailer LOR Challenge will receive a $500 cash bonus from Lyons Truck & Trailer. The Lyons Truck & Trailer LOR Challenge Points Champion will be honored at the 2016 CRA Awards Banquet.
