Chesterfield Township, Michigan – The Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club recently honored 2025 champions from tracks, series, and clubs all across the state of Michigan. Nearly 600 people were on hand for the 60th Celebration of the Fan Club, and among the Championship award winners were specialty awards and presentations to people such as the Finley Family, who won the MARFC President’s Award, Frank Kimmel, who earned the Eddie Sachs Memorial Lifetime Achievement Award, and longtime supporter of CRA, Stan and Judi Rosen, who were honored with the Vito LoPiccolo Contributions to Motorsports Award.
The Rosen’s began their career over 60 years ago as car owners in the Sports Car Club of America. The husband-and-wife duo also spent time in drag racing before competing in the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series, which laid the foundation for their time in Pro and Super Late Model racing.

The iconic red No.131 has primarily been the home for Brighton, Michigan native, Kyle Crump. With Crump behind the wheel, the RMD Racing team has enjoyed some memorable moments with Champion Racing Association, including Crump’s first career ASA/CRA Super Late Model win at Kalamazoo Speedway in 2017. The pairing came from two-laps down in 2021 to win the Redbud 400. More recently, RMD Racing and Crump overcame a blown engine and missing qualifying at Owosso Speedway to win the CRA Pro Series $20,000 Masters of the Pros 200, part of a four-win season in 2025.
The recognition from the Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club was set in motion, in part, by longtime chassis manufacturer for RMD Racing, VanDoorn Racing Development. John and Butch VanDoorn were presented with the MARFC President’s Award at the 2024 banquet, and expressed honoration for Stan and Judi, with whom they have worked closely for years.
The season-opening race for the Turn One CRA Pro Series is on Saturday afternoon, April 18 at Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio. To learn more about the CRA Pro Series, visit cra-racing.com.
