Salem, IN (May 31, 2016) – CRA Powered by JEGS Officials have announced that the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance event that was postponed because of persistent rain showers this past Saturday at Columbus Motor Speedway, has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 20th. The top 22 starters for the event were locked in after qualifying and provisional point starting positions, those will stay the same unless a team does not return for the August 20th event. The last chance line-up will also stay the same unless a team does not return.
Any open positions in the scheduled 22 car starting field, will be filled by qualifying times from last Saturday from the teams that were not locked in the event. Any teams coming to the August 20th event that were not at the event last Saturday will have to race in the last chance race for positions 23 and 24 in the starting field, if there are 24 cars from the event last Saturday. Teams locked into the starting field will need to start the August 20th event on the tires they qualified on last Saturday to retain their starting position. Teams that do not have their qualifiers to start on from last Saturday will have to start at the tail of the field for the August 20th event.
There will be a practice session for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour teams on Saturday, August 20th. Teams will need to bring their pit armbands from last Saturday night to the August 20th event and exchange them at the pit office for an armband for August 20th.
