JEGS/CRA $100,000 Triple Crown Winner Erik Jones Doing NASCAR Triple Duty at Texas

Salem, Indiana (Friday, November 6, 2015): 19 year old Erik Jones made Super Late Model history when he won the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS October 11th Winchester 400 on the famed high banks of Winchester Speedway, with the win he claimed the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown and its $100,000 cash bonus.

 

Now the 2011 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Champion has a different “Triple Crown” to go after in Texas, he is now entered to compete in all three of NASCAR’s top tier events at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, beginning with tonight’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event in his Kyle Busch Motorsports #4, he will race for Joe Gibbs Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday and will make his second ever NASCAR Sprint Cup start for Gibbs on Sunday in the #20 car normally piloted by Matt Kenseth. Jones comes in to tonight’sevent leading the Camping World Truck Series points with two wins so far this season. Jones has two Xfinity Series wins in 2015, the first of which came at Texas in April.
