Jack Brothers Set to Take on Flat Rock Speedway

Special from Hunter Jack Racing – Jack Brothers Set to Take on Flat Rock Speedway

AUBURN, IN (June 20, 2019)

Hunter Jack will enter the ARCA/CRA Super Series race this weekend at Flat Rock Speedway alongside his brother, Tanner. This will be Tanner’s first time around the tight ¼ mile track as well as his first start with the ARCA/CRA Super Series. Hunter already has one race under his belt at the speedway in Southern Michigan.

“I am super excited to make my second start at Flat Rock Speedway” Hunter stated. He made his first start at the track in 2017 where he qualified 5th and finished 6th. After the event got rained out in 2018, Hunter is eager to return to the track.

The super late models will be turned loose for 100 laps of racing Saturday evening. Hunter is confident that he can be the one to hoist the trophy at the end of the night, “Flat Rock is a fun track that takes momentum and finesse which I feel I am good at both. We have been learning a lot about our VanDoorn Racing Development Chevrolet these past few races and I feel we should have a really good car. I want to qualify good and run a smart race and hopefully get my second win of the season!”

Hunter’s last race was at Bristol Motor Speedway for the U.S. Short Track Nationals. Hunter started the event in the 20th position. He fought his way into the top 10 within the first 50 laps. After riding around in the eight position early in the race, Hunter was collected in a wreck that ended his weekend. Despite the unfortunate end to his race, Hunter and his team still have their heads held high knowing they were fast and competitive against the best super late model teams in the country.

The Ross Mortgage Level Pebble 200 event will be held this Saturday, June 22. Flat Rock Speedway is a small ¼ mile bullring located in Flat Rock Michigan. Racing action will begin at 7:00 p.m. Saturday evening. Accompanying the ARCA/CRA Super Series is the Flat Rock Speedway ARCA Late Model Gold Cup Series Outlaw Late Models as well as the Flat Rock Figure 8 cars. Tickets for the event are just $25.00 while kids age 6-12 are $3.00.

Tanner Jack Set to Make First CRA Super Series Start at Flat Rock

AUBURN, IN (June 20, 2019)

Tanner Jack will enter his first ARCA/CRA Super Series race this weekend in The Ross Mortgage Level Pebble 200. Also racing alongside, will be his brother, Hunter. The Jack brothers will look to bag two solid finishes this Saturday at Flat Rock Speedway.

Tanner’s first ARCA/CRA Super Series event will also mark his first time at the speedway located in southeastern Michigan. “I’m very excited to go to Flat Rock considering that it will be my first time at this track.” Even with no laps around the ¼ mile oval, Tanner can rely on his brother’s experience at the track. Hunter Jack, who is becoming a seasoned super late model racer, has a 6th place finish at Flat Rock Speedway in 2017.

Tanner’s last race was just two weeks ago at Angola Motorsport Speedway. Tanner qualified for the 30 lap event in fourth position and would finish the night in third. “Coming off of a very strong top 3 run at Angola, I’m very confident going into my first CRA Super Series race. I hope to run upfront and learn and get better as I go.”

Tanner looks to keep the momentum going in to Flat Rock this weekend. The ARCA/CRA Super late models will compete for 100 laps around the bullring. There are currently 23 cars entered for the weekends events. Also entered is Jack’s chassis builder, Johnny VanDoorn and current ARCA/CRA points leader, Josh Brock. Tanner is eager to start his super late model career and gain experience by racing against the stacked field of veterans.
