Indiana teenager to make second Outlaw Super Late Model start of 2015
Auburn, Indiana (Wednesday, July 15, 2015): Racing primarily in his CRA Late Model Sportsman Series ride as well as in weekly competition at Angola Motorsport Speedway (IN) in the same car, 15-year-old Hunter Jack is also eyeing several starts within the Outlaw bodied Super Late Model ranks during the 2015 racing season. His second start in the high powered, wedge bodied machines is next on Wednesday, July 15th as the fast 1/2 (0.500) mile semi-banked paved oval of Baer Field Speedway, located just 40 minutes south of the Auburn, Indiana race shop in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The Panacea Powder & Ceramic Coatings 100 / Hoosier 100 will highlight the special midweek show in the Summit City. In the teenagers only other Outlaw Super Late Model start of the year, on June 10th at Angola in the Stan Perry Memorial, Jack led the first 31 laps and would bring home an impressive seventh place finish ahead of his father, Brent Jack who finished eighth. Expectations are high for the Hoosier State teenager and he knows it. Especially after coming off of his first Feature win of the season in weekly Late Model Sportsman action at Angola on July 11th
“I just had a great win at Angola and am really looking forward to Baer Field on Wednesday,” Stated the Auburn, Indiana teenager who will make just his third overall start ever behind the wheel of an Outlaw Super Late Model and first appearance at Baer Field. “Hopefully we can get my first outlaw win. It’s a very strong field, but I think have a great car. None of this would be possible without my Mom (Denise Jack) and Dad and I think I can get it done.” He added.
His Father, Outlaw Super Late Model veteran, Brent Jack is coming off of a solid fifth place finish in his last race, the Kevin Butzin Recycling 100 Presented by Belle Tire on Friday, July 10th at Toledo Speedway (OH). The 46-year-old from Auburn, Indiana has made limited appearances during the 2015 racing season, but looks to start ramping up his schedule moving forward and is expected to make several more starts, primarily in the Outlaw Super Late Model ranks, the rest of the 2015 racing season.
So far in 2015 within the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, Jack has accumulated at least a top 15 finish in all five events held thus far this season.
