Harrison Hall Teams up With Platinum Motorsports for the 2018 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Season

Salem, IN (April 16, 2018) – Platinum Motorsports has announced that 13 year old Harrison Hall will drive for their team in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance for the upcoming 2018 season, which is set to begin at Birch Run Speedway on Sunday, April 29th. After competing in only two series events in 2017, Hall will once again compete for the DGR-CROSLEY Rookie of the Year honors and for the season Championship. Platinum Motorsports is owned by Myna Burba out of Dayton, Ohio. Crew Chiefing the team will be veteran Marc Metz.

Hall started out racing go-karts as a 5-years-old in 2011, winning races and Championships right out of the box. Hall has since progressed to racing a Dirt Modified and a Dirt Late Model, collecting several wins as well as Rookie of the Year honors and Championships along the way. In 2017 Hall raced at Bristol Motor Speedway in the Short Track U.S. Nationals, becoming the youngest driver to race at the The Last Great Colosseum at 12 years old. Hall made a couple of starts for Platinum Motorsports at Kil-Kare Raceway during the 2017 season. When not racing on asphalt for Platinum Motorsports this season, the Ohio native will once again compete on the dirt in his Dirt Late Model throughout the tri-state region.

“I feel blessed and very fortunate to be driving for Platinum Motorsports in 2018,”remarked Hall. “I know it will be top notch equipment prepared by a great team and I am ready to get started in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour. I am excited to be running with CRA, there are a lot of great drivers that race in the JEGS Tour and I am hoping to learn from them. It will be different from dirt racing, but we are hoping for a smooth transition.”

“I’m looking forward to working with Harrison this year,” remarked Metz. “He certainly is a talented young man. I truly am excited to see what he can accomplish on the pavement. He ran a couple races last year and did a fantastic job. There will be lots to learn, but he is a bright kid and will pick it up pretty quick!”

Platinum Motorsports has fielded a car in CRA since the 2015 season for West Virginia racer Travis Braden, a former two time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion. Platinum Motorsports was the 2015 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Owners Points Champions. Platinum Motorsports has won several JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and ARCA/CRA Super Series events since that 2015 season with Braden behind the wheel, including the 2016 Winchester 400. Braden will be back behind the wheel of the teams Super Late Model in 2018 for four to six races around his full time ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards schedule.

Hall’s Platinum Motorsports ride will carry sponsorship in 2018 from Platinum Express, Brands Truck Insurance and Fire-Aide. Additional information on Harrison Hall is available at www.harrisonhallracing.com.
