Special from Winchester Speedway – We are just a couple of weekends away from the 49th Running of the Winchester 400 presented by JEGS at Winchester Speedway. Teams and fans making plans to attend the crown jewel event are urged to purchase their pit passes on the Pit Pay App, which will save time at the track.
Teams and fans are now able to buy their pit pass through Pit Pay before they get to the track and even as they are pulling up. All they need to do is download the Pit Pay App on their phone. After a simple sign-up process, they can purchase pit passes for individuals or teams.
Purchasing the pit pass via Pit Pay gives users a mobile pit pass, which can be scanned quickly and easily at the track through a priority line exclusively for fellow Pit Pay App users, rather than waiting in line at the pit gate. No need to bring money to the track, no need to sign paperwork, just show up, show the pit passes on your phone, and head to the pits.
“We’re excited to be a part of the historic Winchester 400 event,” said Frank Bolter of Pit Pay. “I’ve known Bob (Dillner, Winchester 400 promoter) & his team a long time. We both share a passion for short track racing and his experience will be invaluable for the event.”
“I’m excited for the Pit Pay product; it has been needed for a long time in our sport,” said Dillner. “It saves time for fans and teams once they get to the racetrack and it helps with how the infrastructure of the facility flows. It’s a big aid for organization for teams, events and series and that means time saved for all of us to work on other things.”
Throughout the weekend, teams will be working on Pit Pay Pit Road, making their preparations for the Winchester 400. Whether it is Friday’s racing to start the weekend or the Super Late Model stars battling for the coveted rifle trophy, they will be working hard on Pit Pay Pit Road to join the list of winners at Winchester Speedway.
The 49th Running of the Winchester 400 Presented by JEGS is scheduled for three action-packed days of racing at the “Fastest Half Mile” on October 9-11. A limited number of tickets are available at winchesterspeedway.com/tickets.
