Huntersville, North Carolina (Monday, July 27, 2015): “No comment,” at least that’s what Cole Rouse is thinking. For the Arkansas driver, Friday’s Circle City 100 Presented by Greg Hubler Chevrolet was a carbon copy of almost every event he and his No. 20 Cole Rouse Racing team have entered this season. Another mechanical failure ended his race early, relegating him to a disappointing 25th-place finish.
It has been one of “those” seasons for 18-year-old Rouse. He continues to show speed but has not been able to post the results deserved or expected from a team the caliber of his Cole Rouse Racing team led by Kevin Crider Motorsports. Rouse’s No. 20 Rouse Custom Homes Super Late Model felt balanced all weekend long. He felt like he had a good piece for the 100-lap event. He qualified 16th and when the green flag dropped began to work his way forward. A broken suspension part in the rear of the car didn’t allow him to finish the race. He finished 25th.
“Another great car, another broken part,” Rouse said. “We can’t seem to catch a break. I hope our luck turns around soon. Once again we had speed at Lucas Oil Raceway (Ind.) but weren’t able to really show it.”
Rouse and his No. 20 Cole Rouse Racing team continue to work hard and are looking to turn their disappointing season around. He will continue to run both Pro and Super Late Models for Kevin Crider Motorsports based out of Rolla, Mo. for the remainder of the season.
