Entry Form Released for Chevrolet Performance 100 at Winchester Speedway

Nashville, TN – Officials with Champion Racing Association (CRA) have released the entry form for the Chevrolet Performance 100 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance. The event is the final points-paying race of the 2023 season for the JEGS Tour, and although the Series’ 2023 Champion has already been crowned, a chance to win at Winchester remains on the table for the gladiators of the CRA Pro Late Model division.

In the Tour’s last visit to Winchester Speedway, fans were treated to an intense contest that saw multiple pockets of side-by-side racing. At the front, Chase Burda, Brandon Varney, and Michael Hinde were engaged in a tussle that lasted nearly the entire 100 lap race. Varney was forced to fall from the fight after heavy contact with the outside wall. That left Burda and Hinde to settle the debate over who would win at Winchester. The final restart inside of 10 to go would decide the fate of each driver, with Burda completing a last-lap pass to retake the lead and earn the win.

Elsewhere, drivers like Evan Varney, JP Crabtree, Dylan Stovall and others were left to struggle over who would finish inside of the top five. Crabtree and Stovall event came together at one point in the race bringing out the caution flag. Both were able to continue and picked up right where they left off.

The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour returns to Winchester Speedway on Friday, October 13th as the headlining event to kick off the weekend of the 52nd Winchester 400. A one-day event for JEGS Tour teams, two practice sessions will take place on Friday, totaling one hour and fifteen minutes. Drivers who are also planning to pull double duty with the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the ASA STARS National Tour on Sunday will also be able to focus solely on their Pro Late Model program Friday, as Super Late Models will not see the track until Saturday morning.

Along with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Chevrolet Performance 100, the Vore’s Compact Touring Series will also be on hand Friday for a combined 50 laps of racing between their B4 Series and their main event. Also on Friday’s card is the New Star races for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Powered by JEGS and the CRA Street Stocks Powered by JEGS. The 20 lap New Star contests will feature drivers or teams that have not had a top-five feature finish in 2023 at Winchester or a top-three feature finish at Winchester in their respective divisions or higher, going back to 2008.
