Salem, IN (March 4, 2021) – ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the series 2020 season points opener at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, April 10th. That event will be the first of 14 events scheduled for the ARCA/CRA Super Series during the 2021 season and will be the first event celebrating the series Silver Anniversary 25th season of competition.
Anderson Speedway is where the series had its first ever event on Saturday, April 26, 1997. April 10th will be the 71st series event that Anderson Speedway has hosted since that Saturday in 1997, the most of any track the series has raced at. April 10th will be the only opportunity for the ARCA/CRA Super Series teams to get some racing on the tight quarter mile prior to the prestigious 55th Annual Greg Hubler Automotive Group Redbud 400, which will take place on Monday, July 12th, one of the most prestigious Super Late model events in the country.
Anderson Speedway is once again posting $5,000 for the winner of the April 10th 125 lap event, an increase of $2000 over the normal winner’s payout for a 125-lap event. Anderson Speedway hosted three series events in the crazy 2020 season, with several series events being rescheduled because of the COVID Pandemic. Cody Coughlin picked up the win in the series 125 lap events on June 20th and August 15th. Carson Hocevar won the Redbud 400 on his way to winning a season high five series events in 2020.
Anderson Speedway has open practices scheduled for March 20th and March 27th, pits open at 1pm each day, open practice will go from 2 to 5pm.
There will be an open practice at Anderson Speedway on Friday, April 9th, pits open at 3pm and practice will run from 4pm until 7pm. Pits open on Saturday, April 10th at 12:30pm. Practice will begin at 3pm with qualifying starting at 4:30pm. The race program will begin at 6pm and will include the 125-lap feature for the ARCA/CRA Super Series. Also on that evenings race program will be the Anderson Speedway Hart’s Auto Crown Vic’s and Legends.
