Entry Form Available for $10K to Win North/South Super Late Model Challenge at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

Nashville, TN – Officials with Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS, and the ASA Southern Super Series Presented by Sunoco have released the digital entry form for the co-sanctioned North/South Super Late Model Challenge on Saturday, July 13th at the Fairgrounds Speedway. The event serves as the only Super Late Models race at the Speedway before the iconic end-of-the-year All American 400 with the ASA STARS National Tour.

Entry Form

The $10K to win North/South Super Late Model Challenge brings drivers and cars from both regions of the United States’ eastern population with teams from as far north as Wisconsin and Michigan expected to clash with Super Late Model standouts from Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Squarely nestled in what some would refer to as the “Mid-South”, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway becomes the meeting place for this 100-lap showdown.

Last season, a dramatic finish to the North/South Super Late Model Challenge shocked fans nationwide. Nashville regular, Jackson Boone took the lead from Stephen Nasse with 20 laps to go after Nasse had paced the field for the first 79 rotations. Then, as Boone looked to have the race wrapped up, a blown radiator hose exiting turn four drew the caution and ended his chances of returning to Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Victory Lane. On the restart with seven laps to go, Jake Garcia took the top spot and cruised to the win by nearly a second over Nasse and Gio Ruggiero.

The scheduled 32-car field will be set via traditional ASA National Touring Series procedures including single-car qualifying followed by a redraw for the top eight qualifiers. The race will be 100 green flag laps with only approved flat tires being changed.

The North/South Super Late Model Challenge is Saturday, July 13th at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway with the ASA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS and the ASA Southern Super Series Presented by Sunoco.
