Salem, IN (January 16, 2018) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have announced that EDCO Welding and Hydraulics Truck & Trailer Repair will return as the sponsor of the EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier Award with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS regular season events for the 2018 racing season, the 22nd season of competition for the ARCA/CRA Super Series.
“We are very happy to continue our sponsorship with the ARCA/CRA Super Series again in 2018,” remarked EDCO Welding and Hydraulics Truck & Trailer Repair proprietors Eddie and Donna Van Meter. “We have been involved with CRA as sponsors and competitors for several seasons and look forward to continuing to have our company work with CRA throughout the 2018 season!”

Each event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier will receive a $100 bonus from EDCO Welding, except for the EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier of the Battle at Berlin 251 were the award will be $200 and for the Redbud 400 and the Winchester 400, were the award will be $400. In order to receive the bonus, each events fast qualifier must have EDCO Welding stickers properly placed on both sides of their racecar prior to making their qualifying attempt, if not, the bonus will be carried over to the next series event, doubling that events fast qualifier award.
Drivers collecting an EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier Award in 2017 included three time series Champion Johnny VanDoorn, who received three awards and Dalton Armstrong, who received two awards. Single event award winners included two time series Champion Travis Braden, Wes Griffith Jr., Stephen Nasse, Josh Brock, Rapheal Lessard, Kyle Crump, Justin Alsip, Brian Campbell and Cole Rouse.
