DuroByte Motorsports & 16-Year-Old Kody Evans Ready To End Hard Luck Season By Starting Over At Berlin Raceway

Despite sitting 10th in points, Ohio teenager and Michigan based team know they are better than what they’ve shown

Corunna, Michigan (Thursday, July 30, 2015): For 16-year-old Kody Evans and his DuroByte Motorsports team, the 2015 racing season was expected to go much better than it has. The entire team led by Crew Chief, Jimmy D. Smith knows that they are contenders in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance and the results have simply not shown how talented their driver is or how talented the entire crew is. Going into the current season as one of the favorites for the championship, Evans is hoping to shake off the bad luck that has plagued the team all season long.

The Camden, Ohio driver is looking at hitting the reset button beginning on Saturday, August 1st at Berlin Raceway, located west of Grand Rapids in Marne, Michigan. The Berlin 100 Presented by JEGS.com & Boyne Machine Company will see the JEGS/CRA contingent take on a strong weekly cast of drivers in addition to the stout competitors that tour with the series. Berlin is a place that Evans has seen before, having finished 12th in a JEGS/CRA race there back in 2013.

“We haven’t been having the season we hoped for so far. But I know it’s going to get turned around and we will get the results we deserve.” Predicted the 16-year-old driver as he and his DuroByte Team prepare for the trip across the Great Lakes State. “We know we’re contenders in this series and we know we haven’t shown what we’re truly capable of. We’ve had some moments this year, like at Columbus when we were real fast and running in the top five. If we can just get rid of this bad luck, we’ll be right there with those guys and competing for wins.” He added.

For the remainder of the 2015 racing season, Evans’ #4G DuroByte Motorsports / Ford will have sponsorship support and decals from Adesa Auto Auction as well as Performance Transport, Nalett Trucking, L&T Clutches, Howe Racing Enterprises, JEGS.com, Keyser Manufacturing, Fastenal Corporation, Phil Harper Motorsports by Ilmor, AR Bodies, and M.P.H. Promotions.
