Deuser to Drive for 2014 CRA Championship Team Dan Leeck Racing

Charlotte, North Carolina (Friday, May 22, 2015): A new name will be above the window of the No. 12 Dan Leeck Racing Late Model. Corey Deuser will climb behind the wheel for the 2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Championship team. He will begin his tenure with Dan Leeck Racing at Lebanon I-44 Speedway in Lebanon Missouri. The Mercy Masters of the Pros 144, which will take place on May 30, 2015, is a marquee Pro Late Model event. It will feature many of the top Pro Late Model drivers and teams in the country.

“I’m very excited to join Dan Leeck Racing. They are very successful, and I hope to add to that,” Deuser said. “It’s a great opportunity to work with Dan and the crew. I feel like this is a good move for me, and I’m excited to see what the future holds.”

Dan Leeck Racing enters its 5th season competing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance in 2015. In 2013 with driver Dan Leeck, they finished 3rd in points after a fierce battle with the eventual champion, Cody Coughlin. In 2014, they improved their final points position by two and won the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship.

Deuser has a unique opportunity to join Dan Leeck Racing and work with 3-time ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion, Scott Hantz as crew chief. Effective immediately Deuser Motorsports has suspended all racing activities. The closing of Deuser Motorsports has opened the door for veteran crew chief Jim Robinson to offer his services to other teams. Together, Robinson and Deuser have been together for five seasons. In 2013, they captured the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year Award, finished 2nd in series points, and won at Winchester Speedway (IN) during Winchester 400 weekend.

“This is a great opportunity for Corey to move up,” Robinson said. “Hopefully this will help open some doors for Corey as he continues to chase his dream of racing in NASCAR. We had a lot of fun and success together. I feel like I did my job, and now it’s time for Corey to take advantage of the great opportunity he has in front of him. I wish him the best.” Anyone interested in Robinson’s services can reach him at (502)-548-1550.

Deuser will drive a No. 12 Dan Leeck Racing Late Model with sponsorship from Deuser Electric and Mr. Asphalt. For more information regarding Corey Deuser, please visit his website, “like” him on Facebook, and follow him on Twitter.
