Deuser Scores Solid Finish in Super Late Model Debut

Charlotte, North Carolina (Monday, April 27, 2015): This past weekend at Anderson Speedway (IN), Southern Indiana driver Corey Deuser made his Super Late Model debut with the ARCA/CRA Super Series. The 2013 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour, Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year Award winner, was looking for success at a track he has had success at in the past.

He qualified 10th and started 10th, after missing the invert by just one position. Early in the race, contact caused by a mishap between other competitors caused damage to the No. 71 Deuser Motorsports Ford Fusion. The damage ultimately resulted in a very long afternoon for the Indiana teenager. Despite the hardships throughout the Madison County Community Health Center 125, he finished 11th.

“Anderson was a learning experience,” Deuser said. “The Super Late Models have lots of power, making it easier to burn off the right rear tire. Despite the day not going how we had hoped, the team worked hard, and we scored a decent finish, especially considering the adversity we faced through the afternoon.”

Deuser’s Crew Chief, Jim Robinson said, “Racing is a big circle, a big circle of luck. We are stuck on the bottom of it right now, but things are starting to turn around. Corey did a great job for us today. We will move on and go to the next one, it will get better.”

Deuser’s next scheduled event is the 3rd Annual Mercy Master of the Pros at I-44 Speedway (MO) on Saturday, May 30, 2015. The past two seasons, the $8,000 to win event has grown, into one of the premier Pro Late Model events in the country.

This season Deuser’s No. 71 Pro and Super Late Models will carry sponsorship from Deuser Electric Company, 5.0 Graphics, TJ Racing Lubricants, and ARBodies.
