Charlotte, North Carolina (Tuesday, April 21, 2015): “Fired-up” does not begin to describe how Corey Deuser is feeling about this coming weekend at Anderson Speedway (IN). The 17-year old driver will make his Super Late Model debut Saturday night at “The World’s Fastest 1/4 Mile”, a track he has had success at in the past, finishing 3rd in his first start there with the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour in 2013.
Deuser began his season at the historic Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN) on Easter Weekend, taking part in the Hunter Sand & Gravel Pro Late Model Challenge. Deuser ran in the top-15 much of the race, showing that he is back to his “2013 form” this season.
The No. 71 Deuser Motorsports team is heading to Anderson Speedway (IN) this weekend with a brand new Ford Fusion Super Late Model. Anderson Speedway (IN), a tough 1/4 (0.250) mile bullring, is host to one of the marquee Super Late Model events every summer, the Redbud 300, a race Deuser plans on running. This weekend’s 125 lap event with the ARCA/CRA Super Series is one that Deuser feels confident about.
“I’m glad that we have decided to head to a track where I am comfortable at for my Super Late Model debut,” Deuser said. “I know that the increase in horsepower from the Pro Late Model to the Super Late Model will change how I attack the track but I’m ready for the challenge, and I hope we can run up front.”
This season Deuser’s No. 71 Pro and Super Late Models will carry sponsorship from Deuser Electric Company, 5.0 Graphics, TJ Racing Lubricants, and ARBodies.
