Deuser Impresses at Columbus with Sixth-Place Finish

Huntersville, N.C. (September 14, 2015) – It was quite a day for 17-year-old Corey Deuser at Columbus Motor Speedway (Ohio) yesterday in the Bud St. Amant Memorial 125 Presented by Oakley Blacktop. The former JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour race winner drove from a 14th-place starting position, to a very impressive 6th-place finish. It was his best career ARCA/CRA Super Series finish.

Deuser piloted the No. 15 Workout Industries / Deuser Electric Super Late Model for Robinson Racing at the tricky (0.333) 1/3-mile Ohio speedway. He qualified directly in front of former NASCAR driver Jeremy Mayfield. Early in the 125-lap event, the Hoosier State teenager saved his tires and equipment. As the halfway mark approached, Deuser began to move forward. On the final restart, he drove up into the top-five and ultimately finished sixth.

“After the season we’ve had, a sixth feels like a win,” Deuser said. “I believe we can build off this run and close out the 2015 season strong. I’m very excited about the future. I can’t thank everyone enough for the hard work this weekend.”

Following his career-best ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS finish at Columbus Motor Speedway, the Georgetown, Ind., native is hard at work finalizing the remainder of his 2015 schedule.

This weekend, Deuser’s No. 15 was sponsored by Workout Industries and Deuser Electric. For more information regarding the Indiana driver, please visit his website, “like” him on Facebook, and “follow” him on Twitter.
