Deuser Hoping Mother Nature Cuts Him a Break

Huntersville, North Carolina (Wednesday, June 24, 2015): Over the course of a race season, it’s not out of the ordinary for one or two races to be postponed or cancelled due to weather. Halfway through his 2015 race season, 17-year-old Corey Deuser has already experienced three rainouts. For the third time, Deuser will attempt to make his debut driving the No. 12 Deuser Electric / Mr. Ashpalt Late Model for 2014 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship-winning team, Dan Leeck Racing. Columbus Motor Speedway located in Columbus, Ohio will be the site of Deuser’s third career Super Late Model start. He will compete in the 2nd Annual Bud St. Amant Memorial 125 looking to score his first career top-10 finish in the ARCA/CRA Super Series this coming Saturday, June 27, 2015.

Deuser, the 2013 JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Howie Lettow Rookie the Year, is looking to get his 2015 on track after a tough start to the season. He looks to start that this weekend at the tricky (0.333) 1/3-mile Columbus Motor Speedway (Ohio) in the 2nd Annual Bud St. Amant Memorial 125. The Bud St. Amant Memorial 125 will be race number six in the season-long chase for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Championship. Columbus Motor Speedway is a NASCAR-sanctioned racetrack that host a NASCAR K&N Pro Series East event, along with various touring late model series events each season. It’s unique circle shape makes it one of the most difficult venues in all of racing.

“Hopefully the weather allows us to race this weekend,” Deuser said. “I know Dan Leeck and the Dan Leeck Racing team will prepare a fast race car for the Bud St. Amant Memorial 125. I am looking forward to finally getting on track.”

After the Bud St. Amant 125 at Columbus Motor Speedway (Ohio), Deuser will head to Lebanon, Mo., and the fast, high-banked I-44 Speedway for the running of the Mercy Masters of the Pros 144. The Mercy Masters of the Pros 144 is a marquee Pro Late Model Event and will feature some of the best race car drivers in the country. The winner receives a Masters Green Jacket and an impressive $8,000 check.

Deuser will drive a No. 12 Dan Leeck Racing Late Model with sponsorship from Mr. Asphalt and Deuser Electric.
