CSX Play It Safe to be Event Sponsor of 45th Annual Winchester 400 Weekend

Salem, IN (October 6, 2016) – Winchester Speedway officials have announced that CSX Play It Safe will be an Event Sponsor of the prestigious 45th Annual Winchester 400 on the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway this weekend. The Winchester 400 is one of the top short track events in the country. Some of the past winners since the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS began sanctioning the event include names like Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott, David Stremme, Ross Kenseth, Scott Hantz, Brian Ross, Ryan Lawler, Boris Jurkovic, Bobby Parsley and Erik Jones, who has won the last three Winchester 400’s.

The event will include a full three days of on track action with feature events for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Presented by Chevrolet Performance and Vore’s Touring Compacts on Friday, October 7th. Feature events for the Vore’s Welding CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, CRA Street Stocks and Top Speed Modifieds on Saturday, October 8th along with EDCO Welding Pole Qualifying for the 45th Annual Winchester 400.  

On Sunday, October 9th the running of the 45th Annual Winchester 400 will take place, pitting some of the best race car drivers in the country battling for 400 grueling laps to try and claim famous Winchester Rifle Trophy that is presented to each Winchester 400 winner.

CSX representatives will be on hand both Saturday and Sunday promoting the CSX Play It Safe program to all the fans attending both days’ events and to all the fans camping out in the Winchester Speedway campground.
