Special from Speed51.com – Competitors in the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour can finalize their Labor Day Weekend plans. With last week’s cancellation of the World Stock Car Festival at Winchester Speedway (IN), the two Late Model series will now compete at Lebanon I-44 Speedway (MO) on Sunday, September 6.
“We are thrilled that we are able to be a part of the I-44 Labor Day Weekend show,” said CRA Managing Partner R.J. Scott. “The racing climate is very different this year, so things are changing weekly. We feel fortunate every time our cars take to the track.”
The event will be promoted by Track Enterprises, which also promoted Champion Racing Association’s earlier visit to Lebanon I-44 Speedway for the Lucas Oil Show Me State Showdown in May.
“We had the chance to bring Super Late Model and Pro Late Model Racing back with CRA during the month of May and it was great racing,” said Adam Mackey of Track Enterprises. “We are really looking forward to going back.”
At the Lucas Oil Show Me State Showdown in May, Carson Hocevar rallied from a flat tire to win the ARCA/CRA Super Series feature, while Bubba Pollard dominated the Pro Late Model competition in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 100-lapper.
