CRA Releases Entry Form for the Battle at Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway

Salem, IN (August 4, 2017) – Champion Racing Association Powered by JEGS officials have released the entry form for the Battle at Berlin 251 Presented by Primera Plastics, which will take place at Berlin Raceway located in Marne, Michigan, on Saturday, August 26th. The event will be a one day show on that Saturday with two hours of practice, qualifying, last chance race if needed and the Battle at Berlin 251 Presented by Primera Plastics.

The 251 lap event, sanctioned by the ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS, will pay $15,000 to win and $1,200 to start. The race will be a 10 tire event and will count caution laps. The event will have a 5 minute break at lap 100 and a 5 minute break at lap 200. During those breaks teams will be able to change tires, add fuel and make adjustments. The top ten drivers at the break at lap 100 will redraw for their starting position when racing resumes on lap 101. The top five drivers at the break at lap 200 will redraw for their starting positions when racing resumes on lap 201.

The Battle at Berlin 251 is the second event of the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown, which would have paid a driver $100,000 bonus if the same driver won the Redbud 400 at Anderson Speedway, the Battle at Berlin 251 and the 46th Annual Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway. Steve Wallace won the Redbud 400 on June 24th, but he is not eligible for the $100,000 and $10,000 bonuses, because he raced full-time for several seasons in NASCAR’s Xfinity Series, so there will be no $100,000 bonus paid out in 2017.

The $10,000 bonus is still available if a driver that meets the bonus programs guidelines can win two of the remaining Triple Crown events. If no driver wins two of the Triple Crown events, the driver who accumulates the most points during those three events will receive a $5,000 bonus and the title of Champion of the JEGS/CRA $100,000 Super Late Model Triple Crown.

The Battle at Berlin 251 will be the first race of the four race ARCA/CRA Super Series Champion Chase, introduced for the first time for the 2017 season. Berlin Raceway will crown their 2017 ZFS Super Late Model Champion with a similar playoff program in the Battle at Berlin 251.
